Qnect ("Qnect", "we", "us", "our") provides an AI sales agent for merchants that operates over WhatsApp, connecting to a merchant's Shopify store. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect personal data when merchants use Qnect.ai (the "Service"), and when their customers interact with a merchant's AI agent on WhatsApp.

Merchant account data: name, business name, email address, phone number, billing details, and information about your store connected via Shopify.
Customer data (collected on a merchant's behalf): when a merchant's customer messages the AI agent on WhatsApp, we process the customer's WhatsApp number, name, message content, order details, and delivery information needed to complete a purchase.
Payment data: payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers — Stripe provides us with limited transaction metadata (amount, status, last four digits) needed for order records and payouts.
Usage data: log data, device and browser information, and analytics about how the dashboard and AI agent are used, collected to maintain and improve the Service.
We share data only where necessary to run the Service:

We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above. As a general rule:
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact hello@qnect.ai. If your data was provided to a merchant's AI agent, you may also need to contact that merchant directly, as they control the data collected through their storefront.
UK and EEA residents also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
Some of our service providers operate outside the UK and EEA. Where this happens, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data remains protected to the same standard.
